What should I do with my cats?

I don’t really know what to do with my two kitties. They’re brothers (both fixed at 6 months), and even though they’re no longer kittens, they’re still wild (I love them exactly how they are, though). One doesn’t like the box, he’d rather *** on the carpet no matter what we try, and we’ve tried a lot. The other attacked my landlord. I mean he assaulted the poor man, who had to fend him off with a folding chair. My sister and I moved back home to save up and our kitties moved in with my friend (family wouldn’t have them), who has a spare bedroom in a separate building than her residence, so it was perfect. We’d like to stay at home until we can get lots of money saved to buy a nice place where our kitties can destroy whatever and won’t have to worry about landlords walking in, but we can’t keep our cats in a room forever.
There are no windows or heaters and we can’t leave the lights on all day, so they have nightlights 23 hours a day, and we have to drive 45 minutes from home (10 from work) to visit. Both of us have full-time jobs, so we can only see them for a little while every day. We could deal with parting with them if it meant they had better lives, but would anybody take cats like that? An attack cat? Really, I don’t know. We don’t want them to be destroyed. The ****** would be fine if he were an outside kitty, but he’s so passive, I wonder if he’d be easily hurt? Maybe not, but I just don’t know what to do!
Oh, these cats were raised to fear the water bottle, but that doesn’t stop them. Also, you can’t watch your cat’s 24 hours a day when you work, you know? I can’t ask little Artie to only *** on the carpet when I’m at home.
Seriously, we’ve tried the water bottle (runs away, then tries again later, all sneaky-like), we’ve tried pet repellent (finds another spot to go), aluminum foil (thought it was a toy), two litter boxes, different brands/kinds of litter, and we clean it at least twice a day. We give him positive reinforcement when he goes in the box, and negative reinforcement when he goes on the carpet. Now what? I think he just likes it better.

I have had my two female cats ( 12 and 16 years old ) since they were babies, but if any man comes in the house they forget about me, but are all over him. If it’s a woman, they could’nt care less. Any ideas?

I find it so funny that some people say a man with a cat is ***. Have you heard this before? I have heard it from different sources and different ages. It just sounds so silly. I’m a cat person. I’m a guy. I’m not ***. Yet I have come across people that think I’m *** because I own a cat. My cat is a male and he is getting quite upset with all this *** talk. He wants everyone to know that he is strait.

I’m not here to try and prove to people I’m strait thats not my point. I’m seriously trying to find out where this silly idea comes from? What are the reasons behind thinking someone is *** because he owns a cat?

Be fun with your answers I want anything you can think of!
No I’m not worried about if people think I’m ***. I’m just trying to find the connection on why some people think this way about men with cats.
I’m not sure about that dominating idea. I have my cat trained to respond just like a dog would. I snap my fingers and he comes. I say shoo and he leaves me alone. So I’m not sure about cats not being dominated. When I chase him and catch him he just caves and doesn’t fight back. That doesn’t come across as very dominating.

female cats and men?

Daddyskaggs asked:

My wife often comments on how our female cat seems to prefer my attention much more than hers. My sister recently told me this is due to cats (or pets in general) preferring owners of the opposite *** more than same ***. Is this true? Is there any science or studies to back this sort of idea up or is it just wives-tale sort of philosophy?
I know its a dumb question, but I’m just curious.
