How do men mark their territories?

Male animals do it in different ways; rooster crows, dogs pee, cats and lemurs spray scent, etc..to mark their domain and to ward off rivals, how do male humans do it?

   They take control over what ever it is they’re marking as their territory. And protect it in any way.
